Heritage Irish Crystal

Heritage Irish Crystal, from Bilberry in Waterford City, is our newest crystal collection.  It's 100% hand-crafted beauty is evident at first glance, especially when the sun shines through the front windows onto the crystal, the effect is breathtaking.

Heritage Irish Crystal demonstrates a beauty that can only be achieved after years of perfecting the glass making techniques of mouth blowing and hand cutting.

Hand gathered in the form of red molten glass...
Skillfully shaped by the glass maker...
Tastefully decorated by the painstaking skill of the glass cutter...
Polished to reflect as diamonds...

Belleek Parian China

On the banks of the River Erne, set right in the heart of Fermanagh lakeland lies Belleek, home of Ireland's oldest pottery.  For more than 137 years this little village has been famous for its distinctive parian china.  Today, as ever, Belleek holds a special place in the hearts of china collectors the world over.

When you purchase a piece of Belleek china you become the owner of a truly original piece of Irish craftsmanship, made using materials and techniques handed down from generation to generation.  No two pieces are ever the same.  Every handle, flower and brush stroke is lovingly applied by hand to create the look and feel that is uniquely Belleek.  Regardless of size or cost, every piece is crafted with the same skill and attention to detail.

Ltd. Ed. Kilkenny Castle Vase, available soon!
Introducing the Kilkenny Castle Vase,
the 2008 Eddition Piece from Belleek.  This collectible takes its inspiration from the historical landmark of the same name.  Originally erected by Richard DeClare (better known as Strongbow) along the river Suir in 1172, the castle saw many different owners through the ensuing decades.  Acquired by the Castle Restoration Committee in 1967, it was eventually restored to its original state and, since then, remains one the foremost visitor attractions in the region.  This piece, with the artist's signature and date, features an exclusive 2008 Edition backstamp and "hidden shamrock."
Limited to production in 2008. H 6 3/4".

Available in-shop soon.

About the Artist:

Catherine Townshend, 2008 Edition Piece artist, has been working with Belleek Pottery in design for nearly six years.

Her artistic background began in St. Louis Secondary School, Carrickmacross, where she discovered her love of art in Art and Design class. This led her to follow her dream and study Ceramic Design at the Limerick School of Art & Design.

Having designed a wide range of fine Belleek pieces, including Christmas ornaments, vases, collector plates, teapots, and even many intricate Belleek baskets, Catherine acknowledges that every day is an exciting challenge - one where new discoveries are made in perfecting her skills in this extraordinary media of plaster and clay. She is proud to have played a part in creating this year's Edition Piece and hopes all collectors will enjoy owning it as much as she has designing it.

Time is running out!

We have many pieces of Belleek that are the last of their kind available.

After so long in production (for many pieces, only a year), the mold is broken.

Our collection offers collectors, and those seeking special gifts, the opportunity to pick from Belleek pieces that, once purchased, will never be seen again on a shop shelf.
